The First-Year Teaching and Research Office Party Branch of the Department of Physical Education currently has 18 Party members and 1 activist. Branch members have carried out extensive work and achieved outstanding results in integrating Party building with professional responsibilities, constructing an educational system, and providing social services.
In leading education through Party building, it has constructed an educational system of "Party building leadership + ideological and political education in sports + integration of five aspects of education, incorporating elements like red culture into physical education and completing a series of Party lectures on "Ma John's Sports Philosophy. In serving the overall situation, it focuses on the "integration of sports and medicine, jointly holding thematic Party Day events with medical service departments and creating the "Branch Forum" Party building brand. In terms of standardized construction, it has innovated an organizational life model of "theoretical study + educating through sports + cultivating through culture + nurturing through aesthetics. In serving faculty and students, it has launched "Sports for Warmth" activities, donating sports equipment to rural primary schools.
In the past five years, the branch's research project "Promoting Five Aspects of Education Simultaneously: Research on Diversified Innovation in Physical Education" won an award for outstanding achievement in the 2023 "Climbing Peak Project" for improving the quality of primary-level Party building. Several teachers in the branch have won multiple teaching competition awards at the provincial/ministerial level or above and the title of "Outstanding Party Member. The track and field team led by branch teachers achieved excellent results at the World University Games and secured sixteen consecutive championships at the Capital University Student Track and Field Games. The branch has developed a distinctive character of "emphasizing both physical fitness and character, achieving excellence in both Party building and professional work, with high-quality Party building leading to high-quality development.
