The Staff Party Branch of the Department of Physical Education was established in April 2022 and currently has 15 Party members, 1 probationary member, and 3 activists. Most branch members are key staff from the administrative offices and sports venues. They play an exemplary vanguard role as Party members in Party building, team development, talent cultivation, scientific research, international cooperation, and venue management, providing strong support for the department's core work.
The Staff Party Branch solidly advances its work by focusing on its core responsibilities of Party member management, education, and development. It conducts Party member education through a three-tiered Party lecture system—delivered by the Party Committee Secretary, Party Committee members, and the Party Branch Secretary—and a "theory + practice" approach to guide members in strengthening their ideals and convictions. The branch focuses on strengthening political recruitment; since its establishment, it has admitted 1 new Party member and received 4 new applications for membership. Using the Party branch as a focal point, it actively encourages staff to participate widely in mass competitions and various activities organized by the trade union, effectively promoting internal communication and cooperation.
Since its establishment, the branch has been awarded the title of "Outstanding Party Branch" by the Department of Physical Education. Branch members have received honors such as the "Award for Professional Dedication" for educational staff at Tsinghua University, "Advanced Individual in Publicity and Ideological Work, "Advanced Individual in Undergraduate Education Management, "Outstanding Human Resources Worker, "Trade Union Activist, and "Advanced Individual in Office Work. They have also achieved excellent results, including first and second place in the Tsinghua University Young Managers Competition.
